At Woodlands Wildlife Sanctuary, we are dedicated to providing a safe haven for both exotic and native wildlife in need of care and rehabilitation. Our sanctuary, nestled within the breathtaking landscape of ancient woodlands in the Brecon Beacons, serves as a refuge for unwanted exotic animals and birds, as well as native wildlife requiring assistance. Through our specialized programs, we aim to promote awareness and understanding of wildlife conservation and rehabilitation.

Permanent Homes for Unwanted Exotics
In addition to our rehabilitation efforts, Woodlands Wildlife Sanctuary provides permanent residency for unwanted or mistreated exotic animals. Our sanctuary offers dedicated pens that replicate their natural habitats as closely as possible, ensuring their comfort and well-being. We are proud to provide a second chance for these animals, which often include exotic birds and captive-bred birds of prey. By offering them a permanent home, we not only alleviate their suffering but also create opportunities for educational programs that foster understanding and appreciation of these remarkable creatures. Visitors to our sanctuary can learn about these animals' unique needs and the challenges they face in the wild, promoting greater awareness of wildlife conservation.
